Something we all want is the ability to send chat with our turn. I’m looking into that, and here are my thoughts so far.
When you tap Go, it could pop up a dialog asking “Add comment?” If you tap “No, just send” it sends your turn. If you tap, “Yes” it would pop up a screen letting you enter text. (now would that get irritating, to always have to do two taps when sending a turn, rather than j
ust one?)
My concern right now is that if I change the data structure, it’s going to mess up any existing Game Center matches, and also, if one person is playing the new version and their opponent is playing the old, it would mess up the data being transferred.
To be honest, I should have designed something in for that, but that’s water over the dam. Now I have to think about how to handle it going forward.
