It can be a great deal of fun to let the computer simulate one or more games and then check the results. It can also be incredibly handy when you want to coach your own team through an entire season! There are 512 regular season games each year, so you don’t want to have to play each of those individually!
Pro Strategy Football Deluxe offers various options for simulating games, and it’s important to understand that the games are actually played, not estimated. The computer plays every down.
If playing a pick-up game (Exhibition), you can set both coaches to Computer and tap GO, and the game is quickly simulated.
Simulate Season
In Season Play, you have a number of options for simulating one or more games:
- at the main Season Screen, tap “SIMULATE SEASON” and simulate only the regular season. This lets you then step through each week of the playoffs.
- or simulate everything, including the playoffs and championship game. This takes about 12 seconds on a 4S
- At the Weekly Schedule screen, tap SIM on any game to simulate that game, or tap the bottom area to simulate all unplayed games from that week
- at the Team Schedule screen, tap the bottom area to simulate all games from that week other than the team you’re viewing
