Teams’ Season View

Conference Rankings

The 32 teams are broken down by Conference and Division, and are displayed by their rankings (or alphabetically within the divisions if no games have been played).  Rankings are determined using a set of rules which include won-lost records, division records, conference records, head-to-head records, net points in the division, etc.

Tap on a team to view its season data, including season stats and schedule, and it’s a great way to coach a team through the complete season.

Team Season Schedule

Suppose you want to coach Dallas through the entire season.

First, you’d tap on TEAMS from the season screen, then you’d tap DALLAS.  At the SCHEDULE tab, you’d either play or sim the game (more on computer simulation here).  Since you’re coaching them, let’s assum you play the game.  Once you finish the game, you’re brought back to this screen.

However, since this is a season, every week must be completed before you can advance to the next week.  Simply tap the bottom part of the screen, where it says “TAP HERE TO CATCH OTHER TEAMS UP” and the computer will quickly play all the other games of that week.  If you want, you can even go ahead and let the computer simulate next week’s games, too, since it won’t simulate Dallas as long as you’re on the Dallas screen.

This way, you can easily play through the whole season, and you can tap the other controls up top to view Dallas’ season stats and scoring.  You might want to occasionally tap BACK to check out your ranking in the division, or maybe check out league leaders.
